Familib offers online rental of its own childcare equipment. Our car seats, stroller, beds and baby carriers have been selected by us. We have designed and developed our concept in order to offer you a service for : 

 

  • Travel light with your family.
  •  Avoid buying a product for a specific need. 
  •  Have a product adapted to the place and to the needs of your child. 

 

Our rental products are already stocked in our pickup points. All you have to do is book online and once there, you can leave immediately with your product. There are no delivery charges.

 

The Familib network is made up of more than 75 pickup points in France. 

Our pickup points are all independent and passionate professionals with a real sense of service or wishing to develop it!  Their activities are diverse: Hotels, leisure residences, tourist offices, bicycle rental companies, baby shops, tea rooms, cuddly toy makers or even wellness areas for children... We also work with the CGH network and its 4-star mountain resorts.

When your reservation is finalised, following your payment by credit card online, we send you a confirmation e-mail containing your invoice.

 

IMPORTANT: your PERSONAL RESERVATION CODE appears on your invoice. You will be asked for it when you arrive. Without your reservation code, the product will not be delivered!

 

You can retrieve it in your MY ACCOUNT area (top right of the home page of the site), then in the section MY INVOICES 

 

A deposit must be paid on site when you collect your product; the amount varies according to the product rented, and is indicated when you make your reservation and on your invoice. It can be deposited by cheque, cash on the spot or credit card in your MY ACCOUNT space under MY RENTALS.

When calendar dates are not blocked and the product is available or when it is not indicated that the product is unavailable, you can book your product for the same day.

The MY ACCOUNT space is accessible (on the top right of the website's homepage), with the email address and the password registered when you made your booking.

Yes, any product hired that has not been booked on our website FAMILIB.COM will not be accepted on site. If you have any problems making your booking, please contact us at contact(a)familib.com

When your booking is finalised, following your online payment by credit card, we send you a confirmation email containing your invoice.

 

IMPORTANT: your PERSONAL RESERVATION CODE is on your invoice. You will be asked for it when you arrive. Without your reservation code, the product will not be delivered! You can retrieve it in your MY ACCOUNT area under the heading MY INVOICES (at the top right of the home page of the site).

 

It may take a few minutes for your booking confirmation email to arrive in your mailbox, so please be patient. The email address you have entered may be incorrect. Also, don't forget to check your 'junk mail' box, as it may have been hidden there.

 

If your confirmation has not arrived within 15 minutes, you can contact us at contact(@)familib.com 

 

Simply go to the Familib.com homepage in MY ACCOUNT (top right of the site). To connect, use the same email address and the same code as your previous reservation, then go to the MY RENTALS section and select the desired day.

This means that the product is already booked on those dates or that our Familib pickup point is closed; you can still contact us at contact(@)familib.com for confirmation.

No, the equipment must be picked up and returned at the same pick-up point.

The delivery service is only available in Paris at a cost of 20 euros including delivery and pick up. There is no delivery in Roissy and Orly airports. The payment of the delivery is to be made on the spot in addition to your online reservation.  After or before you have made your online rental, you just have to make an appointment for the delivery by phone 24 hours before.

 

The deposit can be made by check at the time of delivery. It can be made by credit card in the section MY ACCOUNT. 

 

In the case of a delay of the customer higher than 10 minutes compared to the schedule of appointment, the delivery or the restitution could not be guaranteed. A new appointment will have to be planned, which will entail additional delivery charges of 20 euros.

 

 

 

No, you cannot combine 2 products of the same reference in your basket. Simply select a product from another reference if available, or make 2 reservations for the same product.

The rental period is from 1 day to 30 days maximum.

If the client does not show up at the latest on the date of the pickup as stipulated in the booking, the products concerned will immediately become available for other customers.

In order to proceed to the modification of your booking, please contact us at [email protected], specifying your booking number and the name of the pickup point where you want to book.

The amount of the deposit varies according to the product rented. It is indicated at the time of your reservation and on your invoice.

 

It can be deposited by cheque/cash on the spot or by credit card in your MY ACCOUNT area (top right of the home page) under MY RENTALS.

It is :

 

  • 50 euros for a Lafuma baby carrier.
  • 100 euros for a Nuna and Phil and Teds folding bed.
  • 150 to 190 euros for a 4-wheel pushchair, a car seat or a Phil & Teds baby carrier.
  • 200 to 250 euros for a 3-wheeled all-terrain pushchair.

 

The deposit by credit card is made by the French company SWIKLY. It is a secure solution that allows you to deposit a deposit without any debit or impact on the card's ceiling. The online deposit is not a payment, the customer is not debited for the requested amount. However, it authorizes a debit in case of a problem.

In case of theft, misappropriation or any damage of the product, Familib is entitled to recourse for the entirety of the loss by cashing the deposit.

 

Under the applicable legislation, the Customer has a period of 14 clear days to exercise his right of withdrawal without having to justify his reasons or pay any penalties. If this 14-day period expires on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday or non-working day, it is extended until the next working day. The withdrawal period runs from the moment of online payment of the rental by the Customer.

 

As an exception, this withdrawal period will apply under the following conditions if the rental period begins during the 14 clear days:

 

. In case of booking cancellation more than 5 days before the start of the rental period: the cancellation fee is 5 euros.

. In case of booking cancellation less than 5 days before the start of the rental period: the cancellation fee is 10 euros.

. In case of booking cancellation 2 days or less before the start of the rental period: no refund will be made.

 

Any cancellation request must be notified directly to FAMILIB by email to contact (a)familib.com or by using the standard cancellation form attached to these general conditions. After processing your request and within a maximum of 14 days, you will receive a cancellation confirmation by email.

 

The amount of your rental will be refunded to you by crediting the credit card used at the time of booking, after deducting the cancellation fees.

 

Example: I book my product online on April 10 for a pickup date on April 17 ; the cancellation fee will be 5 euros, if I wish to cancel on April 10.

Rates are based on the equipment, the location and the rental period. They are indicated on the FAMILIB website at the time of your simulation, starting from one day. Prices are given in euros, including VAT. They are degressive according to the length of hire.

The rented equipment may be picked up on the day of the rental corresponding to the opening hours of the pickup point.

 

The pickup day of the material is a day due. For example, if the rental is from Saturday to Saturday, a period of 8 days will be calculated. If the rental is from Tuesday to Saturday a period of 5 days will be calculated.

Familib.com wants to take special care of the hygiene of its products that's why as often as it is necessary, the seat part of the stroller or the car seat is completely disassembled in order to clean it as soon as we receive it back from a client.

In the pickup points located in the major cities of France, we have at your disposal a single-use protective cover for car seats and strollers! The cover will allow the children to have a seat with an irreproachable hygiene.

The brands Maclaren, Easywalker, Mountain Buggy, Joy, Phil & Teds, Lafuma and Nuna brands meet the European safety standard. You can find the details according to each product in the PRODUCTS AND RATES section.

The payment method currently available on the website is completely secure. The banking data are protected by encryption. They do not transit in any case by the systems of the Company and are thus not preserved by it. It was set up with our banking partner Crédit Mutuel and our IT Partner Pixele.

 

We use the SSL encryption process for the transmission of your payment data. This encryption ensures a high-level security for your transactions. In all secure areas where the URL begins with https: // (where the "s" means secure), the information is encrypted and therefore protected before being transferred over the Internet.

Only credit cards named by the acronym CB, VISA, EUROCARD or MASTERCARD and valid in France or in international networks approved by GIE Credit Cards are accepted.
